Post Show Season

With my 2025 show season wrapped up, I took a moment to look around me.

What I saw….

• The garden was neglected

• My bank account was diminished

• My hair needed to be touched up

• The dog needed to go to the groomer

• I missed the last oil change by a hundred miles

• My driver’s license was close to expiring

• I’d misplaced our passports

• My husband was gorgeously tanned

• The pantry was empty

There was so much to do (my husband, like the garden, had also been neglected), that I did the first thing that popped into my head…cleaned my tack and brushes.
