Time to Spring Forward

Daylight savings time began four days ago, but many animals are still adjusting.
Some dairy cows produce less milk because their routine of feeding and milking has shifted. Your dog may not be ready for his 4PM walk at three o’clock in the afternoon.

Horses, also creatures of habit, may find the sudden one-hour shift in their strict daily routines stressful, resulting in pacing or hunger-related anxiety.
If your horse is asking any of these questions, you need to help him transition to DST.
You’re going to feed me again in an hour, right?
How can I eat dinner when it’s still daylight?
Is the Ferrier coming? Is the vet coming? Why do I have to eat now?
Do you expect me to go to sleep an hour earlier?
What if I sleep in tomorrow and miss breakfast?
